I hope you are enjoying the beginning of August! For some of us, this means the last four weeks of summer holidays before our kids go back to school. I’m enjoying this last month with my kids while they have a more relaxed schedule. This means that we get to dance, bake, and play more, or sometimes do all 3 at once. Whether you have kiddies or not, I want to take this opportunity to remind you to take the time to dance, sing and play every day - even if it’s only for 5 minutes. Whether you are doing your laundry, getting ready for work, cooking or putting dishes in the dishwasher, make a point to check in with yourself, assess how you feel, and then elevate your state. You can do this by listening to your favorite song, dancing and singing along to it. You can easily change your state this way if you’re feeling tired, overwhelmed or stressed out, and transform this into a state of joy, creativity and high performance.

One afternoon, my daughter and I did just that. While my husband and son went to run an errand, my daughter voiced that she wanted to have a baking party, and we had my absolute favorite baking experience - we cranked up the music on our Sonos, we danced, sang and did a baking experiment! The result? Loads of fun and:

Olivia’s orange zest + walnut dancing muffins 💃🏻
*gluten-free, no refined sugar, vegan version available
🎼 🎶 in case you want to try this at home, with the music, our playlist included Don’t Stop the Party by Pitbull, Havana by Camila Cabello, One Kiss by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa, What is Love by Haddaway, to name a few

To your health + abundance,
Dr. Bojana
